I have been teaching yoga in Edinburgh for over 4 years now, working with hundreds of group and private students. Yoga has always been my passion, and it has always felt like an incredible gift to be able to share this practice with the community in Edinburgh and beyond. My teaching has focused mainly on teaching one-to-one yoga in Edinburgh for almost 3 years now, and has expanded from there.
In addition to teaching yoga, I also trained a few years ago to become a health coach (through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition). This was a year-long course, through which I learned so much about nutrition, health and holistic wellbeing. Since then I have worked with so many wonderful private coaching clients and, more recently, established a group coaching program which was so much fun.
Over the past few months I have been spending a lot of time in reflection, with the aim of establishing a more clear cut direction for me to move in. I have worked with a coach and done a lot of soul searching, but I have realised that my intuition has been telling me the answer all along.
Shifting into a State of Flow
I always feel like I’m in a state of flow whenever I’m on my mat or teaching yoga to others. It’s like the stars align, and everything feels simultaneously natural and magical. Teaching brings me so much joy, and I must be doing something right as I am one of the leading private yoga teachers in Edinburgh :)
I have therefore decided to lean fully into this, and focus on my work as a full time yoga teacher. That’s not to say I’m never going to coach ever again, but I won’t be for a while, at least.
Teaching One-to-One Yoga Full Time
You know how everything feels completely in alignment when you make the right decision? I’m totally feeling that right now! I’m committing to simplicity and pure focus – and it feels so good.
Since announcing this update on social media, I’ve had so many questions and interest in one-to-one yoga in Edinburgh (and here’s a cheeky link to my Instagram account and Facebook page if you’re not already following me haha). It’s always so supportive and exciting to see my community respond like this, so as always thank you so much lovelies <3
I may be opening up a few new times in my diary, so do get in touch if you are interested in private yoga classes.
Lastly, I do teach a few weekly group classes in Edinburgh and Midlothian, which aren’t going anywhere so do not worry!
Thank you for your continued support over the last 4 years, and I am so excited to see where this focus takes us.
