Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to expand on your current practice, I am confident that private yoga classes will benefit you.
I specialise in private yoga classes here in Edinburgh and Midlothian. These classes are catered specifically for you, and we will focus our sessions in a framework that will ensure you get the most out of them.
I teach yoga with a focus on functional alignment. This means that every posture you will learn in class will be correct for you and safe for your body. I will challenge and support you, so that you are getting the most out of our work together.
Our one-to-one yoga classes may include a variety of breathing techniques, yoga postures and exercises designed to improve your strength and flexibility. I combine all of this with relaxation tools that you can take away with you.
I am also happy to provide sequences (video or written) on request, so that you can keep practicing on your own in between sessions.
We can work together twice-weekly / weekly / fortnightly, or at time that suits you. I appreciate you may have a hectic schedule, so ad-hoc appointments are generally always available. The majority of my teachings are based at a beautiful studio in the centre of Edinburgh.
I am also happy to work with you in the comfort of your own home or office (subject to location and time). There will always be a full range of yoga props to assist you in your practice, wherever our session is held.
I also work with small closed groups (I call this a semi-private yoga class). This is perfect for you if you want to learn yoga alongside your partner, friends or a family member. I normally limit these sessions to 2-4 people to maintain the intimate setting of a private yoga class. You still get lots of focused attention, but with the added benefit of practicing with your favourite person/people.
