I wanted to share a bit about my experience with mental health, including my previous diagnosis of bipolar disorder. After 11 years of being treated for bipolar, I was UNdiagnosed(!) with the disorder. My daily yoga practice has been a huge contributor in my healing, as has self-compassion and self-care. In this video I talk about how mental health diagnoses aren’t nice clear-cut boxes, and how remission and healing can be possible. I hope you learn from this video that you don’t have to identify completely with your mental illness, whatever that may be, and to focus on your strengths not your limitations.
